This program was officially launched on 21 June 2025, which was also the 72nd birthday of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. This program gives a gift of skills to poor families so they can earn with dignity and build a better future.
It is specially made for the children of BISP beneficiaries, so at least one member of every poor family can learn a skill, get a diploma, and start earning.
Main Purpose of Benazir Hunarmand Program
- To give modern technical skills to youth.
- To empower poor families by helping their children become skilled workers.
- To provide interest-free loans to start a small business.
- To help them earn in Pakistan or even abroad.
Har qadam pe roshni hai, pur azm yeh zindagi hai!
Who Can Apply for Benazir Hunarmand Program?
Only those can apply whose family is already registered in BISP and:
- Are active BISP beneficiaries.
- Belong to a poor and deserving family.
- Have children (male or female) who are unemployed.
- Youth age should be approx. 18 to 35 years old.
Note: If you are not registered in BISP, you cannot apply for this program.
Who Will Get the Training in BISP Hunarmand Program?
Only one member from each BISP beneficiary family will be selected for skill training.
This member:
- Must be interested in learning.
- Must be willing to work after training.
- Will get a diploma/certificate after completing the course.

What Happens After Hunarmand Program Training?
Once training is completed:
- You will get a recognized diploma.

- You can apply for a free interest-free loan from BISP.
- You can start your own business or work abroad.
BISP will help you in finding job opportunities too!
Benazir Loan Facility for Skilled Youth
After finishing the BISP Hunarmand training:
- You will be eligible for a loan from BISP.
- The loan will be interest-free (Qarz-e-Hasna).
- You can use it to open a shop, buy tools, or start work.
- Loan amount and process will be shared on the portal soon.
Duration & Location of BISP Hunarmand Training
- Training will be of 3 to 6 months, depending on the course.
- Training centers will be in major cities and towns.
- Travel support may be given to poor students.

A special online portal is being launched for this program.

- Enter your CNIC number of the BISP beneficiary.
- Check your eligibility status.
- Fill in the student details.
- Select your desired skill/trade.
- Upload required documents.
- Submit the form and wait for confirmation.
