How Shopkeepers Can Use the e-Gadget App (Full Process)

Here is the full, step-by-step process for mobile shopkeepers:

Step 1: Get Access from Police Station

1. Visit the nearest police station
2. Give your:
   • Name
   • CNIC
   • Shop address
   • Mobile number
3. Police will give you a Username and Password

Step 2: Install for Playstore and Login

• Go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store
• Search “e-Gadget” and install it
• Login with the username and password given by police

Step 3: Add New Purchase in the App

When a customer comes to sell a mobile:

• Open the app
• Click on “Purchase”
• Fill full customer details:
  • Name, Phone Number, CNIC Number
• Fill mobile details:
  • Brand & Model
  • IMEI Number (Single or Dual SIM)
  • Purchase Date
• Take:
  • Photo of customer (with their permission)
  • Your own photo
• Add any comment if needed
• Click Submit

Step 4: Wait for 5–10 Minutes

If the mobile is reported stolen:

• Police HQ will call you
• They will ask you to hold the phone and the customer
• Police will reach your shop

Important: Don’t scare the customer. Just engage them in friendly talk until police arrive.

• If no call comes → the phone is safe → transaction complete!

• Go to the nearest franchise of your mobile company and get your SIM blocked.

Step 3: File a Complaint at Police Station

Go to the nearest police station and:
