Provisional Merit List Announced — But Wait! It’s Not Final Yet!

So yes, the moment we all were waiting for is finally here — the Provisional Merit Lists are now being announced by universities all over Pakistan under the PM Youth Laptop Scheme Phase 4. But remember, provisional means temporary — this is not the final list.

This is just a first step, not the last. It’s a temporary list based on the information students submitted during application — like their academic performance, program details, and eligibility. It does not guarantee a laptop yet.

The purpose of this Provisional List is simple:

To show who has been initially selected
To allow students to review their details
And to give time for any correction requests if something looks wrong

HEC and your university will now carefully verify all data. If any mistake or mismatch is found, your name might be removed from the final list. That’s why this is your golden chance to double-check your name and all information.

So if you’ve applied for the PM Laptop Scheme Phase 4, don’t waste any time. Check your university’s Provisional Merit List, and:

Check your name
Match your details (degree, marks, semester, etc.)
If something is wrong, immediately contact your university’s focal person
Submit the correction request before the deadline, along with required documents

Remember, after this correction period, a Final Merit List will be released. Only those students will get laptops whose data is fully verified and matches university records. Yes, the Provisional Merit Lists for PM Youth Laptop Scheme Phase-IV (2025) have been officially announced — even for the universities listed above!

But… Many universities haven’t uploaded the list on their websites yet. So if you’re checking your university’s site and still not finding the list — don’t worry. Even we couldn’t find it online. But it has been announced.

What You Should Do Now

First, re-check your university website — they may upload the list anytime.

If not finded: then Immediately do:

Contact your Department Focal Person (DFP)
Ask them if your name is included in the provisional list
If there’s any mistake (like wrong CNIC, CGPA, semester, or program): → Send a correction request now

Remember: HEC has already sent the provisional data to all universities. Your university is checking and reviewing the list internally.
