If you have just completed your studies as a veterinary doctor or para-vet. You are feeling excited but also worried – “What next?” Finding a job is not easy, and without experience, many graduates feel stuck. To solve this problem, CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz has launched a Veterinary internship program for young vets and para-vets. This program is not just a training opportunity – it is a doorway to a brighter future.
With a huge investment of 60 crore rupees, the Punjab government has decided to support 1000 graduates and para-vets across the province. This is not an ordinary internship. It comes with a handsome monthly stipend (Rs. 60,000 for vets and Rs. 40,000 for para-vets) and real field experience that will prepare you for professional life.
What is the CM Punjab Vets & Para Vets Internship Program?
This internship is specially designed for:
- Veterinary Graduates (Vets) – Fresh DVM degree holders.
- Para-Vets – Those who completed a 2-year diploma in Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD).
The main purpose is:

- To prepare them for real-life veterinary challenges like disease control, vaccination, and livestock management.
- To connect students directly with farmers and communities.

This is not just learning – it is also about earning while learning. Each participant will get a good monthly stipend so they can focus on their work without worrying about expenses.
